Patient Name: Cooper
Brief History of Pet
Cooper was adopted from Grahamville Rescue and Sanctuary as a puppy in May 2015. He was found by animal control as a stray rooming the streets with his siblings downstate in the Missouri Kentucky area. I felt a connection with him on the initial home visit and knew I had to rescue him. He’s a very loyal and affectionate dog who is always eager to please.
Why VSMR?
My veterinarian recommended VSMR as a potential resource during an exam when he was experiencing lameness. I’m glad there was a local facility where Cooper could get the care he needed

How VSMR has helped
Cooper’s mobility and balance was off when walking and he also had difficulty using his rear legs to lay down and get up. The VSMR team started his treatment plan with a combination of Hydrotherapy, shockwave treatment, acupuncture and Adequan injections. He responded well and is always happy to attend his next appointment. Cooper has returned to his daily exercises and is active for being a senior dog. His arthritis slows him down from time to time but otherwise I couldn’t ask for a better recovery
Non-Profit Organization
I’d like to promote P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park IL.

Several family members have adopted their pets from this rescue and
my aunt volunteers there as well.
“Doodle is the sweetest girl and an absolute joy to work with! She always greets you with a wagging tail and a smile on her face. She loves to rest her head in your hands during treatment and head scratches.”
