Our experienced team, headed by Dr. Amber Ihrke, Diplomate of the American College of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ACVSMR), consists of licensed veterinary technicians who have post-graduate training in physical rehabilitation. The VSMR medical team is dedicated to a collaborative approach with your primary care veterinarian to implement an effective treatment strategy.

The team at VSMR develops a customized treatment plan based on your pet’s diagnosis, abilities, and limitations. Rehabilitative therapies decrease pain, improve healing, enhance performance, prevent compensatory injuries, and restore functional ability, thus allowing our pets to maintain an excellent quality of life. Physical rehabilitation is available for pets following orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery for the treatment of chronic pain, athletic and traumatic injuries, as well as age-related diseases, and weight management.
