Brief History of Pet
We purchased Doodle in May of 2009 when she was just 8 weeks old. Eddie and I bought her while we were dating before we were married, and she moved into our River North condo with us when she was just a teeny puppy who was literally all ears!
Why VSMR?
Doodle began attending rehab sessions as she got older and following CCL surgery to improve her muscle mass. The rehab sessions included water therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy, and massages. Our veterinarian highly recommended VSMRHG and since we have been here, we’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences.

How VSMR has helped
Prior to attending rehab sessions at VSMRHG, Doodle was less mobile and appeared to have noticeable discomfort in her back and hind leg area. Now she appears to walk with much less pain, and she even began running in the yard again!
Additional Information
Every day is a celebration for Doodle! Doodle was a flower girl in our wedding several years ago and she loved walking down the aisle in her tutu. While every day is an adventure, she truly loves spending her days with her family and brother Houdini, who is a 14 year old toy poodle. Doodle absolutely loves people, and she is the sweetest dog in the whole world. Doodle doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, and she lives every day to the fullest.
As a younger dog, Doodle was enamored with playing ball, fetch or catch in the yard. She also loves to play Bags (aka “cornhole”) in the summer as she loves chasing the bean bags and sticking her head up through the hole of the boards to grab the bags. She also loves traveling to the dog beach downtown in the summer and the various local dog parks. There isn’t a person who meets Doodle and doesn’t automatically fall in love with her as she has an endless number of loving fans!
