Patient Name: Piper
“We are so lucky to have gotten to know Piper over the years. She is such a sweetheart, and it is our privilege to keep her comfortable so she can continue to be the happy, lively girl we know and love!”
Brief History of Pet
I got Piper in 2019 when she was 6 months old. I saw she was being neglected and abused and I offered/begged for the guy to let me take her. After going back and forth for a while, he finally agreed. I immediately took her to the vet, where they explained that she had a broken knee that was neglected and healed improperly. She got PRP shots which were amazing and helped for quite a while.
Why VSMR?
When she was around 4, I noticed she was limping again. That’s when I was referred to VSMR.

How VSMR has helped
Unfortunately, there’s nothing that can be done to fix Pipers leg, but with physical therapy and pain management, Piper is using her leg and regaining muscle in it. Now she’s using all of her legs comfortably.
Additional Information
She came with me to college the following year and we had the best time. She comforted everyone. Whenever a friend was stressed or needed a break, they’d come over to hang with or walk Piper. She was always invited to every hangout. She made so many friends and in doing so, I did as well (lol).
